The June Tour / June 3 - 10, 2023

Day 1 (June 3)

After arriving at the airport near Kutaisi (around 1:00 pm depending on which direction you are coming from), after exchanging money and buying SIM cards and snacks for the road, we will head to Martvili Canyon, where there will be an opportunity to take a pontoon boat ride on the turquoise surface of the water in beautiful scenery. We then drive towards the Black Sea to Ureki. This resort town on the Black Sea and is famous for its beaches full of magnetic sand, which has healing properties. Although it's June we will try to take a sea bath ( a suggestion for the brave and/or crazy), stroll on the beach, watch the sunset. That day dinner and overnight at a gesthous in Ureki. 🕍

Day 2 (June 4)

After breakfast we will set off on our Minivan to Shekvetili, where the famous Georgian billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili, the richest man in Georgia, established his own Dendrological Park. where, among other things, baobabs, sequoias, bamboos, eucalyptus trees grow, lemurs jump on the trees, and by the artificially built lake we will see flamingos and flying parrots. In the afternoon we will reach the village of Gomismta, which is a holiday resort of Georgians in the Guria region. Here we suggest you spend the night in a tent with a fabulous view of the mountains or in a mountain hut (this is a matter to be decided before the trip, when the group gathers, of course, tents and sleeping bags on our side). ⛰️

Day 3 (June 5)

After assembling our encampment and breakfast, we will leave for the mountain village of Meriakheli, where there will be an opportunity to see how the local people make their specialties using traditional methods and a tasting of these delicacies. On this day we will also see the picturesque Chinchao Lake. We will pass many amazing and traditional pastoral villages to reach the village of Shuakhevi at the end of the day. Here we will stay for dinner and overnight. 🗻

Dzień 4 (June 6)

On this day we will go on a tour rich in Georgian architectural gems. We will see the bridge of Queen Tamari, Georgia's most famous ruler. Also on our tour is the Skhalta Orthodox Monastery, founded in the 12th century. We will climb a hill (6 km round trip) where the medieval Khikhani Castle, once the most important fortification in Adjari, is located in a strategic and very picturesque place. For dinner and overnight we will head to a nearby village. 🏡

Day 5 (June 7)

After breakfast, we will set off from Khikhani to the Lakes of village Shuamta. From there, the road will take us towards the mountainous Goderdzi Pass and we will hike to the Green Lake. We will then visit the Beshumi resort. We will spend the night in Zarzma village, where we will also visit the monastery of the same name. ⛰️

Day 6 (June 8)

On this day we will cross the amazing Zekari Pass (2182 m.a.s.l) , which is the border between the Imereti and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions, there is a picturesque mountain panorama. In the afternoon we will arrive at Sairme resort, which is famous for its healing mineral waters, which we will have the opportunity to taste. We will stroll through this wonderful resort, where Georgians come to enjoy the many spa services. We will have dinner here that day and stay overnight. ⛰️

Day 7 (June 9)

From Sairme we will head towards Kutaisi, but before we visit the city of ancient Kingdom of kolkheti, a surprise awaits us on the way in the hot springs in Vani, where we will be able to soak our travel-weary bodies in sulfur water in beautiful natural settings. In Kutaisi itself we will see the Kolchida fountain, Bagrati Cathedral and other attractions of the city, one of which is a bazaar where we will buy souvenirs and Georgian specialties to take back to Poland. On this day, the last supra in Kutaisi. 🍷

Day 8 (June 10)

This is the day of departure. After breakfast and packing, we will leave for the airport.✈️

The plan is quite detailed, but it is always subject to change if only due to weather conditions or temporary road closures. You have to remember that Georgia, as beautiful as it is also unpredictable, but you love it for that. ❤️

Georgia, which lies at the crossroads of Asia and Europe, will always be both familiar and exotic to us. On the one hand, the famous Georgian hospitality, on the other hand, the culture and traditions that are not fully understood for us. We guarantee that you will fall in love as we did with Georgian cuisine, wine, mountains and people. ❤️

50 EUR (booking advance) on account + 500 EUR payable on the spot upon arrival (550 EUR in total).

Those who are determined should first of all buy air tickets. This is a guarantee of the trip for us. Then, after sending confirmation of ticket purchase, a reservation deposit is required within 7 days, in case of cancellation the deposit is non-refundable).

The number of places is severely limited. The minimum number of people on the trip is 4. Only intimate groups.
